Seeds of Community
A collaboration between a town, a school, a farmer, a corporate office park ownership, a local food pantry and a local non-profit. The office park owned important farmland with access and visibility across the street from ConVal High School. The Russell Foundation brought together parties, facilitated discussions and negotiations and drafted agreements. This work culminated in the development of an organic sustainable educational farm on farmland set aside from a corporate office park along state highway and across the street from and in partnership with ConVal High School in Peterborough. The farm provides numerous education, food, and community benefits and is managed by Cornucopia Project http://cornucopiaproject.org/.
